We’ve stayed at a lot of properties up and down the door peninsula and this place is a gem. For our family of 5, it was perfect if not a bit larger than we needed. Plenty of space for everyone. The kids loved the bunk room and provided toys and games. The parents loved the sunroom for nap time reading and relaxation as well as having a more secluded master bedroom. The shower water pressure is unreal! Very private but 3 minutes from the sister bay strip/beach/restaurants. The hosts were fantastic, very accommodating for an unplanned check in and late check out. We come to door a few times a year and this property will be hard to beat. Don’t hesitate, book this place!

Cottage and Bay was the perfect amount of everything! The house was clean, and easy to get into. The location was perfect! Close to Sister Bay, Ephraim, State parks, and so much more! The home is surrounded by trees, the back yard was perfect for a fire after a long day exploring! The house had all the necessities! The house was clean, with clean linen and towels! There were games to play, cupboards had everything you would have at home! The house could easily be for a big family or a couples get away! The hosts were very responsive and easy to communicate with! There is a gas station 2 blocks away, that has anything you may need or forgotten, with a really quaint restaurant attached, just perfect so convenient! I will be back, next time for a much longer stay! Thank you so much for sharing this special place!

I’ve stayed at a lot of rentals and this was one of my favorites. Every detail was on point and there was clearly a lot of thoughtful intent with the space. Comfortable beds and excellent water pressure - both of which are super important to us. The property was private but still minutes away from everything. We will definitely be back!

Perfect location. Clean, updated home that is secluded and private, away from the hustle and bustle of sister bay, but only a 2 min drive to town.

We loved Cottage & Bay. It was clean, beautifully decorated, spacious and cozy with a fully appointed kitchen with everything you need to cook, bake and grill. The bathrooms had full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Plenty of extra towels and linens, including beach towels, dishwasher tabs and laundry detergent, all thoughtful touches that made our stay comfortable. The home has plenty of space to hang out and would be a great place to bring your family and still feel like you have enough room. Plenty of parking, too.

We liked the privacy of the property while still being minutes away from everything. We brought our dog and there is nowhere to walk along 57, so we drove 15 minutes to Ellison Bay for beautiful scenery and a peaceful walk. There is a fenced doggie run on the property though.

Check-in and check-out were easy. The hosts provided an electronic guidebook with property and area recommendations. I would love to return and stay here again.

Great place to stay close to Sister Bay. Online guide shows the effort they put into making your stay as great as possible and no check-out checklist was the icing on the cake!

Loved the Cottage for a family vacation!! Very nice and comfortable place. Loved the dog run, hiked the property, and enjoyed the heated garage with pool and foosball table. The hosts were very friendly, easy to contact, and responsive! The pathway lights bothered us at night and when we reached out they were able to fix it very quickly. I would stay here again with my family as we had a lot of room to spread out. The one thing I would bring next time or recommend would be having a griddle for breakfast food. Also loved the k cups they provided!!

Was an excellent spot for 6 adults and 2 infants to spend the weekend while doing the Fall 50 Race! It was very nice, clean, and family friendly.

We stayed here for only 2 nights, but were so happy with the location, space and hosts! There was plenty of outdoor space to explore, indoor activities to enjoy (we really loved the pool table and puzzles), space to spread out for quiet time, and very comfortable beds! We loved the snow and can't wait to come back in other seasons too! The proximity to Sister Bay was great too!!

we absolutely loved our long weekend at cottage & bay. the just outside of town location was exactly what we were looking for to enjoy the peace and quiet. the house was exactly as the photos and we were able to settle right in. we loved our daily walks on the property with our dog. and she loved watching out the window for deer. would absolutely recommend for anytime of the year getaway!

You want big but cozy, private but close-by, calm but fun...The Cottage & Bay has it all! A big house with EVERYTHING you might need (or need but you didn't know you did...) it's secluded off the road and has its own forest around. It's private - no noisy or nosey neighbors - but only a short drive to the town center (shops, restaurants etc.). It can be the perfect oooohmmmm get away - with books, a sunroom, and fireplace or a roaring fun house - with ping-pong and foosball tables, a large dining (game;) table, and lots of board games.

There is ample parking space for four cars, plenty of spaces to hang, sit, eat, relax - so bring your friends and their friends, too! Everything is exceptionally clean and well equipped - hair dryer, lots of fluffy towels, thoughtful black make-up cloths, tissues, cotton balls...and a fully equipped kitchen, including salt & pepper, coffee & tea. The hosts reach out to you prior to arrival and are available for questions/comments throughout. Bravo!

Very nice property, filled with lots of birch and cedar trees and trails to explore. The dog run was very convenient in the mornings and evenings. The heated spacious game room garage was filled with a pool table, foos ball and nice table to play cards. If our boys weren't outside exploring the property they were in the garage. The house was very comfortable and had enough room that everyone had their own space. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. We would definitely come back!

Effortless is the best way i can explain my stay. The hosts did a great job laying things out with their guidebook and were very friendly and responsive. The property was beautiful and provided more than enough space. Would absolutely recommend, and I would love to stay here again.

Beautiful home in a secluded location, but a short drive to town. Our family liked being able to have a bon fire at night without being in a crowded area. Master bedroom and pillows were great. Our adult children said they liked the other rooms also.

We loved our stay!! There was a lot of space and activities to do in the house. Everything was clean. There were blankets everywhere, the fire pit was nice to use, and everything we needed to prepare out own meals was in the kitchen.

Katie and Mitch are super attentive and easy to communicate with and were able to come over right when we needed something! We will definitely be checking out the availability of this place for our next Door County stay!

We absolutely loved our stay at Cottage & Bay! The space was beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful. My kids had a blast exploring the woods and playing in the game room, and adults enjoyed morning coffee in the sunroom and nights together around the firepit under the stars. The rental was also in the perfect location, only a five minute drive to Sister Bay! The hosts were so kind, organized and responsive! Definitely a 10/10!

Management is very responsive. Loved the fenced in area for our pup, located off the deck. Very nice Firepit area with eight chairs. We had one glitch with a kitchen appliance. We called Katy and she was very responsive in dealing with the unavoidable malfunction. The location is super private, yet a very short drive to Sister Bay Fish Creek and more.

Cottage & Bay is heavenly

Fantastic property, close to everything in Sister Bay - just a short bike ride away - yet secluded, private and quiet. The house was very spacious and comfortable. Very clean and had everything we needed. The outdoor space and fire pit were fantastic. The dogs had a safe, fenced in, area to roam. We'd come back in a heartbeat! Thanks Mitch & Katie!
